About 2 months ago my Husband and I decided to get rid of our carpet and get Tile floors. I knew the color palette that I wanted and I knew the quality of the tile I wanted but I had no idea what tile I wanted. Juan Casiano II, was my sales person and he took the time to show me multiple tiles, and explained why they fit in the quality that I was looking for. After a while I decided on 2 sets and then I started calling my Family and friends who I knew had experience in buying tile for their homes. Juan was very patient and answered even more questions. He waited while I discussed what I had chosen and what I was looking for with the 2 people whose opinion I trusted. Juan kept saying he wanted me to be happy with what I chose and did not mind me making the calls if it gave me peace of mind. He did all of this knowing we would not be installing till September. We finally picked out our tile, then the grout, and then the transition pieces. That same weekend he came and did all the measurements, and placed the order for the tile. So when it came time for our install, everything was ready to go. The installers showed up on time and worked everyday till the job was done. They cleaned up after themselves each day and moved the appliances when needed. They took care not to damage nor scratch my appliances and they vacuumed with a shop vacuum to keep the dust down. They were very efficient and would ask to make sure I wanted - what they had in their work order before they laid the tile. Which was why when we got to the fireplace tile, I made a last minute change. After seeing the orginal grey tile placed where it was going to go, I did not like the look. I made a phone call to Juan, told him I was going to need more of the white tile to go around my fireplace and he and the installers made it happen quickly. From demo to completion took 5 days, even though Juan had informed us that it could take up to two weeks. Juan was honest and told us expectations that were well in range, from cost, time and process. I would highly recommend Floors for Living for any flooring needs. Also I would like to add the one friend that I called for advice loves my new floors and now wants to re-do her kitchen with glossy tile.
